Why sell through CCS

Your organisation can sell to buyers across the UK public and third sectors through CCS. 20,000 spend 22.7 billion a year through us.

CCS also helps shape public procurement policy in the UK. It makes procurement quicker and simpler, implements digital procurement services, and helps small and medium sized businesses (SMEs) sell to government.

SMEs

Government wants to buy from SMEs when they offer the best value. It has changed the way it buys goods and services to help more SMEs bid for contracts by:

  • Ensuring payment within 30 days
  • Buying in simpler and quicker ways, for example by abolishing pre-qualification questionnaires for low value contracts
  • Publishing contracts on Contracts Finder
  • Introducing a simplified bid pack.
