Lot description
Use this lot if you need a single supplier to manage both standard travel and emergency responses. Lot 1 includes all services provided in the other 3 lots. It is the most flexible choice for departments with complex or changing needs.
Services provided include:
- core business travel: Book flights, rail, ferries, and hotels in the UK or overseas
- civilian support: provide housing, security, and welfare for vulnerable groups (such as asylum seekers or refugees)
- crisis response: emergency evacuations for staff or civilians during unplanned events or medical emergencies (MEDEVAC), chartered planes or ships, and quick security support
- translation and welfare: providing language support and welfare services for people in government-approved housing
- expert staff: suppliers can provide "implants" (staff who work within your office) to manage your travel
