Become a supplier on a dynamic purchasing system (DPS)

Register on a DPS: how it works

A DPS is designed to give buyers access to a pool of pre-qualified suppliers.

The application process for joining a DPS is typically quicker and simpler than for a standard framework as it is based on completing a set of pre-qualification questions.

DPSs also have the advantage that they remain open to new suppliers throughout the lifecycle of the agreement so you can join at any time. Also, you have the ability to offer additional services throughout the life of the DPS should your business expand into new areas.

There are no joining fees, suppliers simply pay a small commission based purely on the value of the sales they make through the framework. The commission varies by agreement but currently averages just 0.33%.

How to sell through a DPS

You can find the DPSs we currently offer on our website. You’ll be able to find information on what the DPS is about and register as a supplier on the Dynamic Purchasing System Marketplace.

If you find a DPS you would like to join, you can apply to become a supplier at any time during the life of that DPS.

Where to find CCS dynamic purchasing systems

  1. You will need to complete a standard Pre-Qualification Questionnaire (PQQ). If you have met the exclusion and selection criteria in the PQQ you will then be added to the DPS. If you are not added as a supplier you will be given useful feedback to help you re-apply.
  2. Approved buyers award individual contracts through the DPS. The buyer invites all suppliers on the DPS (or all those included in their filtered selection based on their requirements) to compete and bid for a specific contract.
