In our latest aggregation opportunity for Adobe licences, we helped 84 customers save on average 31.75% - the equivalent of over £2.8 million for those who took part.
Following the success in early 2020 of the aggregated procurement to establish a supplier for the new Enterprise Term License Agreement (ETLA) negotiated with Adobe, we decided to ask Lisa Shinn, Category Manager for Aggregation at CCS, how this new approach will impact the public sector.
CCS has aggregated Adobe products in the past – what is different about this competition?
This aggregated competition was for multiple intakes of customers across a whole year, rationalising the supply base for Adobe and driving greater savings. Thanks to our previous work on aggregating Adobe licenses, we had already identified a number of customers with co-terminus agreements – making the volume for this aggregation even higher.
What role did the CCS aggregation team play in this?
The team worked hard to understand the customer licensing needs, which included working closely with Adobe to address any specific queries. As always, we conducted the whole procurement from end to end, saving a lot of process time for customers. We also ran the procurement through an existing CCS framework agreement, so ongoing contract support and advice is permanently available.
How many organisations were part of the initial aggregated procurement?
A total of 84 public sector customers across a variety of sectors participated in this competition. This was split between 37 customers who were new to the CCS Adobe ETLA and 47 customers who were renewing under the CCS Adobe ETLA.
Customers in the education sector already get specialised discounts for Adobe products and police authorities have their own agreement for Adobe, so for this reason our customers in these sectors were not encouraged to participate in this aggregated competition.
What sort of discounts are customers getting through this new agreement?
Our customers saved a whopping £2,872,632. This amounts to an average saving of 31.75% against market pricing for the same Adobe products.
