Become a supplier on a dynamic market

What is a dynamic market?

A dynamic market is a new online purchasing tool that was introduced under the Procurement Act 2023. They are designed to give public sector buyers access to a list of pre-approved suppliers who can provide a range of products or services.

A supplier must pass our pre-arranged checks to become a supplier on one of our dynamic markets.

Suppliers can apply to join a dynamic market at any time and, if approved, they must be added to the system within a reasonable timeframe.

Who can supply through a dynamic market?

All private sector businesses are welcome to become a supplier on one of our dynamic markets.

There are no joining fees. Instead you will pay a small commission (or levy) based purely on the value of the sales you make through the commercial agreement. The commission varies by agreement.

What is the process for supplying to dynamic markets?

To supply through a a dynamic market you must follow the steps below:

1. Find a dynamic market to join

Take some time to read through the opportunities available and identify if any match the services or products you can provide.

2. Meet conditions of participation

When you register to join the dynamic market you will be asked to:

  • complete a pre-qualification questionnaire (PQQ)
  • show that you meet the conditions of participation

If you meet the criteria you will be added as a supplier to the dynamic market.

The winning supplier will be awarded the contract by the buyer.
