Insurance and Related Services 5 Framework
Summary
This closed framework is let under the Procurement Act 2023. It provides the UK public sector with insurance services. This includes brokerage services, insurance advice, policy insurance cover, claims management services, management and placement of insurance policies.
Description
Insurance Services 5 is the latest version of this agreement. It will build on earlier versions by continuing to provide access to insurance services in a regulated market.
Services you can access will include:
- brokerage advice
- cover for a range of insurance policies
- claims management services
It also supports the management of insurance and risk programmes, including:
- complex combined business insurance arrangements
- one-off renewals
- urgent insurance cover
Services are provided by insurance brokers, insurers and claims management companies.
The agreement will run for 4 years and is let under the Procurement Act 2023 using an open procedure.

- access to approved claims handling service for the public sector

Customer engagement
We will be hosting a series of online customer engagement sessions. The sessions will give customers the opportunity to provide feedback on the agreement. You can find upcoming sessions listed below:
Insurance customers
- Insurance customer engagement session 1: Wednesday 18 March, 11am to 12pm
- Insurance customer engagement session 2: Wednesday 1 April, 2pm to 3pm
- Insurance customer engagement session 3: Wednesday 15 April, 2pm to 3pm
Claims customers
- Claims customer engagement session 1: Wednesday 8 April, 11am to 12pm
- Claims customer engagement session 2: Wednesday 22 April, 11:30am to 12:30pm
