Gives central government and wider public sector organisations access to effective debt collection services through a managed end to end service offering.
Description
This is a single-lot framework available to all central government and public sector contracting authorities. It will provide debt collection services as a managed end to end service. It will be awarded through a competitive flexible procedure.
It will cover all services related to debt collection, including:
- a full range of financial services for ethical and fair debt collection
- a 4 year framework with no extensions
- cost-effective, customer focused solutions to ensure the framework can meet all expectations and requirements
- financial conduct authority (FCA) approved suppliers to ensure high and fair standards of customer care

Product types
Lot 1: Managed Collections
Provides access to managed service providers (MSP). The MSPs will manage a panel of debt collection agencies (DCAs) who are FCA authorised and regulated. The DCAs offer desk based collection services, contacting your customers directly to arrange repayment of outstanding debts. The MSPs will use data to create debt recovery strategies based on customers’ individual circumstances. They will then place the debt with the most appropriate DCA and monitor their performance and adjust placements to maximise recovery rates. The DCAs will work directly with your debt customers and ensure debt is collected sustainably and fairly. Including identification and ethical treatment of vulnerable consumers
