Digital & Legacy Application Services

Summary

Access suppliers who can provide IT digital and legacy application services (DALAS) and will support the roll out of future applications that are less dependent on legacy technologies.

Description

This agreement will be available for all central government departments and UK public sector bodies to use including:

  • local authorities
  • health
  • police
  • fire and rescue
  • education
  • devolved administrations

You will be able to access a range of IT digital services to help you develop and implement future applications that meet your needs.

It can also help you to move to an application support model that isn’t dependent on legacy (old or outdated) technologies. This move away from legacy applications will allow you to provide more cost effective and innovative services to your users inline with government digital strategy.

This agreement is expected to replace existing HMRC contractual arrangements that are due to expire between September 2023 and January 2025.

Market engagement

We are keen to hear your views so that we can create an innovative and dynamic agreement. We will be carrying out market engagement in the following stages:

  • presentations from CCS and HMRC guest speakers
  • a commercial overview of the procurement process and agreement content
  • an opportunity to ask questions

After the event we will share a recording and a copy of the questions and answers with everyone.

Stage 2

Suppliers can register to take part in our second round of market engagement which is being held in conjunction with HMRC. These one to one sessions will last for 45 minutes.

The sessions will take place between Monday 26 and Friday 30 September 2022. Register for the engagement sessions.

Note: if you have registered for the Stage 2 market engagement event, we will provide you with an update after the registration closure date which is set for Wednesday 14 September 2022.
