Big Data and Analytics

Scope

The Big Data and Analytics agreement will be divided into two lots. 

Lot 1 will enable the provision of  ‘design, build and run’ professional services related to the following data and analytics capabilities. ‘Design, Build and run’ covers the creation, deployment and support of solutions.

  • advanced analytics and cognitive solutions
  • data risking
  • data management and acquisition
  • platform services
  • reporting and dashboards
  • search and discovery services

Lot 2 will offer commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) software specifically for big data and analytics capabilities. This will include:

  • big data management
  • data mining, risking and science (analysing large databases to generate new information)
  • machine learning and Artificial Intelligence (AI)
  • reporting and analytics
  • search and discovery

We anticipate that this will be a  2 year agreement with the possibility to extend by a further 2 years.

The scope and duration of this agreement are subject to change.

Customer engagement

This agreement is produced in collaboration with HMRC as a key stakeholder, and will be available to all public sector organisations. Should you wish to find out more, contact the Software and Cyber Category Team.
