Helping you buy the technology you need at the right price
Our TePAS framework gives you the procurement power to source a wide range of vital technology products and associated services to keep your organisation running.
You can buy IT hardware such as server racks and smart devices, and off-the-shelf software including webinar technology and cloud computing software. Plus you can add any associated services if you need them, all under a single contract.
Whether you have requirements related to increased remote working as a result of COVID-19, or you need support with your digital transformation strategy, our team of experts is here to help take some of the pressure off.
Watch our short video to find out what you can buy through the framework. You can also read the script of the video.
What are the benefits of TePAS?
-
Efficiency
We listened to your feedback on our previous framework. Associated services, such as managed IT service desks or consultancy, can be bought at the same time as hardware and/or software, saving time and effort as you don’t need to run separate competitions. Using the simplified further competition option for this framework, based on price only, can also help you reduce timescales and increase efficiency.
-
Value for money
Competitive prices on products and services, with further savings available through our regular IT hardware aggregation opportunities.
-
Supply chain assurance
We are proactively working with the industry to eliminate modern slavery, child labour and inhumane treatment in our supply chain. This includes our work with Electronics Watch to monitor framework suppliers and the first level of subcontractors.
-
Choice
Access a wide range of suppliers offering great choice to meet your specific needs, including small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), resellers and direct manufacturers. If you are purchasing IT equipment, you have the option to lease it, rather than owning it outright. Customers, such as the Ministry Of Defence who buy security products from List X suppliers (companies operating in the UK working on UK government contracts which require them to hold classified information) are also able to do so via TePAS.
-
Options to buy sustainably
If you’re looking to buy your IT hardware more sustainably to make the most of our planet’s limiting resources, we can help. The 2 options to do this through TePAS are buying remanufactured or refurbished, and leasing or buy-back.
How to buy
You will need to run a further competition to buy through this framework.
There are 2 options for this:
- run a further competition (based on price and quality)
- run a simplified further competition (based on price only)
Further competition is broken down into 6 steps, from identifying and finalising your requirements through to evaluating the tenders and awarding the supplier, if required.
Did you now know that procurement cards are the most efficient way for your organisation to pay for goods and services? And, the more you use them, the more time and money you’ll save. So boost your buying power by using procurement cards for all purchases in your organisation.
