The power to keep your organisation moving
If you manage a public sector fleet, you’ll know there’s so much more to the task than procuring and running vehicles at the lowest cost.
These days a successful fleet management strategy needs to consider cost savings alongside social value, health and safety and – high on the agenda – environmental impact.
At CCS we’ve been working with the public sector to find better fleet solutions for over 11 years, with a particular focus on the green agenda. Our approach is to look at the whole vehicle lifecycle alongside your organisation’s wider strategies. We can empower you to invest resources today so you have an efficient, cost-effective and low-emission fleet in the future.

Solutions for the whole fleet lifecycle
From procuring, adapting and maintaining vehicles, to running your fleet efficiently and sustainably, we’re here to drive the best value for you.
-
Acquire
This covers the purchase, lease and hire of a wide range of vehicles, from cars, 4x4s, motorcycles and commercial vehicles, to specialist vehicles including minibuses, coaches, ambulances and refuse collection lorries. All fuel types are available including ultra-low emission vehicles (ULEVs).
-
Adapt
We can help you convert and modify your vehicles, making sure your fleet meets your specific requirements. This could be anything from ply lining vans to complex ambulance conversions. Our Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) gives you ready access to suppliers across the UK.
-
Manage
Everything you need to manage your fleet more efficiently, which in turn can help to improve driver safety, reduce emissions and lower costs. We have frameworks that cover telematics, insurance, vehicle hire, fuel cards, outsourced fleet management solutions and more.
-
Maintain
We offer a wide range of solutions to help keep your fleet on the road. From tyres and spare parts to repairs and servicing, we make it easy for you to keep your fleet in optimal condition for as long as possible, using frameworks designed to help you support local suppliers.
-
Sustain
The most pressing topic in fleet management today is environmental impact. All our frameworks include options to help you meet your sustainability targets. From telematics to help you manage vehicle demand, to the procurement of electric charging points and low-emission vehicles.

Partnering with 'Driving for Better Business' to deliver social value
We’re working in partnership with Driving for Better Business (DfBB) to play an active role in supporting social value and community benefits at a local level, through our supply chains.
DfBB is a government-backed National Highways programme aiming to improve the levels of compliance for all those who drive for work by managing work-related road risk more effectively.
Suppliers on our Fleet agreements are committed to work through the programme, ensuring that they actively manage road related risk, making driving for work safer, positively impacting drivers health and wellbeing, while reducing harmful effects on the environment.
By working together we can achieve fewer work-related road incidents, making our roads a safer place and minimising the demand on emergency services.
